Awards Dinner
The biggest event in our Social Calendar is the Annual Awards Dinner. Held during February, it brightens up the dull winter days and gives every member the chance to meet other Club members, swap stories of the previous year's competition and re-live past experiences. During the evening the annual trophies are presented followed by dancing to a live band, which is great fun. So come along and join us. It also allows members to get up to date with competitions, competitors, cars, gossip and preparations/plans for the new season.
Summer
During the Summer we hold a Gymkhana which is a pleasurable event for all the family at a friendly local farm. The day consists of fun and games using mainly cars as a means of getting from A to B. This may also involving doing laughable things with apples and oranges, buckets of water or in fact anything which ensures the undignified pursuit of enjoyment and driving. The day is then rounded off with a barbecue.
Visits
The Club organises at least two visits a year to organisations connected with motoring. Among others, recent visits have included the Rolls Royce factory at Goodwood, Beaufort Restorations and Prodrive in Banbury.
